The police have lodged notice of appeal against the Magistrate's decision in the recent ease ag'iinst Hie Timaru Brewery Company which was recently dismissed, the charge being in regard to a ten-gallon keg of beer which the prosecution alleged was not labelled as required by the Licensing laws.
