The Magistrate to-day dismissed a case against .Boss, tobacconist, for a breach of the early closing requisition by Ihe tobacconists and hairdressers of the city. The Magistrate held that the requisition upon which the hours of closing here was fixed applied only to shops in which the combined business of hairdressiug and tobacconist was carried on, not tobacconists alone. ill' Seddon says that the judgment given by the Magistrate to-day regarding the closing of tobacconists will be considered by the Crown Law ollicers.
