Sydney, January 8. There is a great beat inland. Many places register from 100 to 117 dcg. At Broken Hill the temperature is 113, ami four deaths, from heat apoplexy have occurred. There is much sickness. There are indications of a cool change. Adelaide, January 8. On Saturday 113 dcg. was recorded and 110 yesterday. Many persons are prostrated. Several more deaths are reported, due to the heat. Ice carts plied all day yesterday. COOL, SHOWERY WEATHER.g Received 9, 1.2 a.m. Syuxey, January 8. The heat wave was succeeded by cool, showery weather yesterday. Ciirhula recorded 121 degrees, Brewarrina 120.
