Statistics of the Magistrate's Court for year 1905 show that 3710 plaints were entered; 1978 oases were tried, with an aggregate amount sued for or &M.463 llad £21,663 recovered through I the Court. 8 For the year 1904, 3288 plaints were entered; 181 cases heard, with an aggregate amount sued for of £35,601, and £19,977 recovered.
