ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

A remittance man named Franl Baker, aged 50, and single, was found dead on the road in Guuimie's Busk, He had apparently been run over by a heavy vehicle he had been driving. He had no relatives in the colony. Auckland, January 8. i A girl named Ada Mcyian, aged 17, died suddenly under singular ciroumj stances. Alter an outing on Friday she complained of n Uca( }. ache. She was apparently well next day, but succumbed this morning. An inquest will be held.
