ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE.
THE WARDEN SHIP. TEH PRESS ASSOCIATION', Auckland, January 4. The position of the Acting-Warden of St. John's College has been offered to the llev. Percy Williams, and it is understood that he will accept the appointment. The College is under the control of the General Synod, and ] the matter will come up for further consideration when the Synod meets in 1907. Mr Williahis was horn at the B-.iy of Islands, and educated at Christchurch, New Zealand, and Cambridge University. Oil returning to New Zealand he was curate of St. Sepulchre's, Auckland, under the late Archdeacon Dudley; he subsequently joined the Mission. About three months ago he returned to the colony, As curate of St-HSepulchre's ho made many friends, and lie takes a keen interest in athletics, at one tiuio having been a prominent member of the GrafJon Football Club.
