THE CANADIAN TARIFF.
PREFERENCE WITH BRITAIN AND COLONIES. Received 1, 9.35 p.m. Londox, January 1. Mr Alfred Mossley, speaking at the Canadian Club, said Sir W. Laurier had informed him that Canada was prepared to increase her preference for British manufactures, provided Britain gave preference for agricultural products.
