A hark meeting was held atTarata on ZS'ew Year's Day. There was a large attendance, about 700 people being present. The weather was gloriously fine, though the course was rather rough. The bookiuakiiig fraternity were in strong evidence and appeared to come out on top in the matter of winnings. The events were interesting and in some cases amusing. Following arc tile results.
