The Watt Case.
Alleged Murder Plot. Concocted Eildencc. LONDON, Oct. 13. A further development has occurred ill connect!mi with the trial of Hugh Watt, formerly JJ.P. for Glasgow, who is chargwl with attempting to procure Herbert, Marshall to murder his former wife, at! No. '">, Regent Street, St. James's.
On Sept. 22 Watt cafMl a witness persons emerge, and overheard their that after sewing Watt leave No. 5, Regent Street, ho saw/} two other persons emerge, and overheard their conversation. One said, ''Ho careful, Marshall, howiyou go about it." The oilier, who resembled Marshall—now in Court—replied, "Have no l'ear ; nobody will believe Watt. I'll take it out of hint. ,you finish tile statement you commenced yesterday. Keep a copy, or wo arc done." Huttlo 'has now withdrawn this evidence, 'declaring that Walt paid him to gi've concocted evidence.
