A young woman named Amelia Connolly, fcgwi about 20 j<ears a . comparatively recent arrival from the Wmranapa, died rather suddenly at Hastings on Wedacsday night un der circumstances which caused an imjuest to te iield. Thftjury returned a verdict of doath from «cutc blood" poisoning, caused by a self-made attempt to perform an illegal operalion.
