The Petroleum Bore.
Considerable interest was taken in tlm working of the pump on Thursday, a number of shareholders and others visiting the bore. After the pump had been working for some hours a slight mishap occurred, one of tha welded rods breaking. This caused two or three hours' delay, hut Mr Fair and his stall then got the apparatus in satisfactory working order again. The. pump is bulging up oil and water, hut there are signs that the accumulation of Water will soon he overcome. Tne i..anagcr is confident of th" capabilities of lite oil well, mtd shareholders are expecting to hear "something to tneir advantage."
