(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 39 Dr. Solf. Governor of Samoa, on Aug. 14, addressed a large assembly of chiefs and officials at Mulinuu the scene of the disturbance m April' last, when sovoral native chiefs wore liberated, from gaol. The .captain and officers of the German warship Condor were also present. Dr. Solf dispersed the Taimua and Faifulc, who were his native Councillors, and created a new Council. They had imposed taxes without authority, and went so far «s to commit an act of violence. He found that nowhere In Samo« was there any sympathy with the wrong-doers. A decision ' regarding Uztaniu lins not been made clear from Berlin, Itegnrding tho other oifenders nnd ringleaders, Moefaano nnd l.iinali would be deported and others fined nnd' dismissed from office, lie lidded that ho wanted to make ji perfectly clear that there was no difference between the Government for Samoa and the general Go*ernment of the colony. There was only one Government for Samoa —that of tho Germao Emperor, *nd no room in the Go'vermuont for Tumua and l'ulo. j
