—_ | Workshop Destroyed. (Pes Frew AsSorjaMoa.) WANGANUI, Aug. 29. A fire this morning destroyed a twostorey workshop owned by D. McFarlane, and oocupied bjy Andrew Thompson, builder and contractor, who was uninsured, and lost all the contents of the shop, ,inclßdingian engine., machinery and tools valued at £l6O. Three other carpenters lost all theiß tools, one chest being valued at £3O. Grain Store Bsrnrt. (IVr I'ren Association.) BLENHEIM, Aug. 29. Clouston's grain store, near the railway station, was burned this morning. It was leased by A. Widen, and contained a large stock of produce, which was insured for £4OOO in the Manchester Office. The building had £SOO on it in the National. There were three thousand sacks of barluy and two thousand of wheat and other stuff. The origin of the flr e is unknown. —
