Tie Body Badly Burned (Per Press Association.) DUKEDIX, Aug. 23. The police atf closely investigating the circumstances connected with the death of Ham Sing Tong (a Chinaman), near Tapanui. The body wan very badly burned, tficlothing being almost bunted oft. There was a bruise on the forehead and several cuts on the taoe, and a pool of blood about the bed. Tfie flopr strewn with oi a bottle, and- there were fragments of a bottle on a shelf near the bed. - The burns' were evidently caused t>y * the explosion oi lamp found on thi bed.
