REFORMERS IMPRISONED.' MUSSELMANS MIGRATE TO TURKEY. Hanger asd Disease RimpaotSt. PETERSBURG. Aug. 22. The police imprisoned M. Milukofii Professor of Russian history at the St. Petersburg University. Professor Dennisewitch, and fifteen oiher reformers suspected of preparing a visit to Liberal candidates for the National Duma elections. The reason given by the police is that they wre arranging a meeting to condemn the manifesto. A land of Socialists trying to enter Wa.saw, a fieroo encounter took place with Cossacks. Ten Socialists nere killed, and several wounded. A thousand Ruben Cossacks anl Mussulmans have migrated to Turkey. In one instance three hund'.ed threw down their carbines on parade, saying it was no part of their duties to act as police. They had (already done too much dirty work. The harvest has failed in twentyfive provinces la Ilussia. A peasant rising is feared. Hunger and disease are rampant in many towns owing to the strikes.
