A Terrible Accident.
A Girl's Scalp Polled Off. (Per Press Association.) ■DUNEMN, Aug. 17. A young girl named Mabel Shep. pard, employed at Messrs Wilkieand Co./s factory, mot with a terrible accident this afternoon, Her hair. wihiich was flowinfe, caught round some of the shafting. She was re. leased, and removed to the hospital, where it was found that the wholo of her scalp and half of oho car had been torn aw u y. The hair and' ear have, been careluljy replaced, and it is hoped that the girl m|ay recover, At present she is under chloroform.
