The Kaiser and the Pope.
Catholics Will be Faithful Subjects. (Received Aug. 11, 9.50 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 11. The Kaiser, in an address in connection with tho Army manoeuvres at Gresen, appealed tolhe Polos to exhibit loyalty and appreciation of good Government. He added that at his last interview with the tote Pope Leo XIII., the latter clasped both! his hands and blessed him, though a Protestant, with the promise in the name of all German Catholics that they would be faithful subjects of their Emperor.
