The Caulficld Grand National Hurdles, three miles and a half, less 92 yards, resulted :—York 11.1,1; The Toiler, 10.5, 2 ; Marmont, 12.5,3. All started but Pennant. York, who was favourite at 6 to 1, assumed command shortly after the start, and won all the way by four lengths. The placed horses were his nearest attendants almost throughout tho journey.
