Subject to satisfactory arrangements of details being made, the Borough Council lias accepted the offer of Scott Bros., Oliristchurch, to install an electric plant to light the streets, supplying a total of 21,50U candle power, for £750 per year for an average of lour hours per night (equal to 3jd per unit). Extensions pro rata of the current are to he supplied to private consumers, the cost no't to exceed Is per unit for light and 4d for power. The Council has the right of purchase on terms stated.
