I THE FOURTH TEST MATCH. GOOD SCORE BY ENGLAND. LONDON, July 21. The fourth test match began at Manchester to-day. Tyldeslcy was hit by a ball the Australian fast bowler, causing a brief interruption of play. On resuming play was steady, fifty appearing al the end of an hour's play. Tyldeslcy had batted for au hour and a halt. Two fot 77, of which Hayward was 32.

A demonstration was accorded Spooncr, who reached 1000 runs for the season.
