IN PURSUIT OF THE KNIAZ.
TROUBLE AT MANILA, INTERNED SAILORS TURN i SULLEN, MURDEROUS INTENTIONS. (Received July : 9, 4.17 p.m.) St. PETERSBURG, July 8. The Smictlivy, 'manned by officers, coaled at Theodosia, and started in pursuit of the Kniaz, Potemkin. The latter is reported as steaming to Novorgosujsk, where the Black Sea squadron has arrived. The inhabitants have been warned not to venture in the streets in the event of the Kniaz Potemkin appearing. The cruisers Pani and Kaoerkuryn protect Tlieodosia. The Russians interned at Mianiila are sullen and sympathise with the Kniaz Potemkin. Owing to a rumour that their intentions were murderous, the Ameii-» can warship Monadnoek is watching in the proximity. One hundred and fifty mutineers are incarcerated.
