Sixteen Vessels Sunt SLOW VESSELS AVOID DANGER, j A RUNNING FIGIIT. (Received May 30; 0.51 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. Reuler's Tokio correspondent reports that Admiral Ho'/.hdestvcnsKy's fleet was practically annihilated. Twelve warshijgs were sunk or capturod - two transports and two destroyers were sunk. KiaochaU on Monday reported that a running fight was in progress in the Korean Straits. The whole Russian fleet whs- not the iv, all the slower ships steaming; round Japan. It is reported that the Japanese losses heretofore havo been one cruiser and ten ; torpedo boats.
