—— o KNOTTY POINTS. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCH'JJRCH, May 12. Two appeal cases instituted by the Licensed Victuallers' Association, of considerable importance to hotelkeepers;, were argued before Mr Justice Cooper to-day. The first brought up the question' of the existence or otherwise of the "lbona fide traveller," the decision of the Stipendiary Magistrate in fining a Sumner publican for supplying liqSior to Christchurch residents on a Sunday being appealed against. In the other case the rfuestion of the legality of cards iboing played in hotels, the loser paying for drinks for the others, was argued. 1 In both cases His Honour took time to consider his decision.
