INTERCOLONIAL WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 11. Speaking at the Post and Tele graph Conference to-night, Sir J. G. Ward, Postmaster-General, said that when in Australia he interviewed the Federal Postmaster-General about wireless telegraphy. There was just a probability of .wireless telegraphy being established between New Zealand and Australia. They could establish" stations on both sides for under £20,000. Referring to superannuation for the Department, he saiid he would give his most hearty assistance in having tho scheme put on the Statute Book. If the Post and Telegraph Department officers joined with the Civil Service and with the teachers thuy could have a system that Would be a great success.
