The Ngauiotu Golf Club's liakf «cre opened on Saturday afternoon when, favoured with fine weather some excellent play was witnessed. Proceedings commenced with a match between sides chosen by the captain and secretary, the latter'* twelve Tirovailing by 28 holes to 10, but in tho mixed foursome* position* were reversed, the captain's combination winning by 7 to 0. There wore a number of visitor* on tho scene, and during the interval* tho ladle* kindly dispensed afternoon tea. Pollowing were tho scores : MEN'S TEAMS MATCH.
