LORD TENNYSON APPALLED. (Received April 13, 10.2 p.m.) I/)NDON, April 13. Lord Tennyson, Governor-General of Australia, in a letter read at the annual meeting 1 of the Aborigines Protection Society, stated that he .was appalled by the revelations made by Dr. Roch's report, and lioped to lead the West Australians into adopting a comprehensive policy for stamping out the abominable iniquities evidently flagrant there. It was resolved to insist on equitable native legislation in British Possessions.
