The monthly meeting of the above Hoard was held on Wednesday, the members present being Messrs S Turn-bull (chairman}, Connctt, Uol-l-ier, and French. Mr Oi-bell slated that Messrs Cart-wrigh-t and Kingdon had completed their To Arei road contract, und that the expenditure of the "balance of the Kelily road loan would be proceeded with at once. Mr French reported that the settCers on the Mamaku Road had lirtished the formation and were reudy for the moLul authorised at the lust meeting.—Mr French was authorised to arrange about same. It was decided not to proceed with the expenditure of the Wortley rpui} loan until next speing. Mr G. Hall waitell on tlie Board and lcquested the loan of some bi idge timber for moving a building, this being granted 011 the understanding that any damage to tin,'JO* bo made good.
