The capture i of Ticking will relieve a thousand junks long detained on the Upper Liao, and set l'rec a vast accumulation of suppliesf." The Mikado thanked the army, saying the signal victory enhanced Japanesc military prestige at hoiue and abroad. He is deeply gratified at the courage and endurance dis-i jriayed, and looked for even greater exertions in the future.
