HOSPITAL TROUBLES.
(Per Press Association.) ! MASTEIITON, March 15. . At a meeting of the hospital trus- ! tees to-day, a deputation presented a petition signed by upwards of 780 residents, asking that Dr. llutement's services as medical officer at the hospital be retained. After dis- - erosion the following resolution was carried : "That the petitioners be informed that "tli© sole reason for terminating the services of the present medical officer was that the other medical men in the town had declined to co-operate with him and form an honorary stalT. and not because k there was any want of conlicieiieo in the .skill and ability of J)r. Uutement."
