The Council of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association tonight rescinded a resolution disqualifying W, J. Lopdcll for life, and decided that Lopdell tyring a professional can now apply for reinstatement. A. resolution was passed to invyte two Australians to compete at tihe Shrubb-Dufley meetings throughout the colony.
The council refused a proposal to send a representative to meet the visitors in Melbourne. lilt wns decided to ask Mr R. Coombes, of Sydney, to select a representative.
