Sir,—Having read a letter in your issue of this morning signed "F.rnes't Wastney," I hasten to explain that although I knew that gentlemnn was ill I was not aware that my performances were calculated to disturb even a sick person who was living nearly quarter of a mile distant. If my services are to Ijc of use to the company of which lam a member, practice is very necessary, but I shall at all times endeavour to pay due regard to the feelings of those people who arc the victims of nerves or sickness.—{ am, etc., THE IILCLEH. _________
