Volunteer News.
Rifles, Guards, and Battalion Band turned out in strong force last evening for inspection by Colonel Webb, officer commanding the dis-' trict. After the usual inspection the two companies -were put through outpost work, the colonel visiting all the groups, aod interrogatiiifj non-coms and men. He afterwards expressed pleasure at the interest displayed in the work.
To-nigliti Captain Robinson, R.E., will be in camp, ami will deliver a lecture on '''Fortifications."
