DEPUTATION TO THE PREMIER. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Fov. 3. Representatives of the Bible in Schools party waited upon the Premier to-night to ask if Mr. Seddon could introduce some modification of the referendum bill, say a measure of ono or two clauses referring to the people direct the Bible in schools question. Mr. Seddon said none of the deputation were more keenly disappointed than he was in the rejection of the referendum bill by Who Legislative • Council.
