TORPEDO BOAT MISHAP.
A DEADLY MACHINE BREAKS ADRIFT. (Received Oct. 27, 10.20 p.m.) PARIS, Oct. 27. While six French torpedo boats .were engaged in manoeuvres off Dunkirk, the swell caused <a torpedo to escape from one boat. It struck the torpodo boiat Grenadier, which was steaming at full ®Peed, damaging her considerably, but the vessel managed to regain port.
