WATi:iN MILLS. Mr Watkin Mills and party arriviby the train this morning and will dies, and niet with a great reception, at the White Hart Hotel. At Wanganui Mr Mills was mot at the station by the Mayor and representatives of the different musical bodies, and received a great reception. At Balmerston North, the local paper states, the house was crowded in every l>art and exhibited unprecedented enthusiasm. The famous basso sang fifteen and still tho audience clamoured for more. From every town Mr Miills has visited the some flattering reports come to hand, and it is lipped this distinguished singer will not bo able to say New Plymouth was the only placo that gave him no warm reception. Never before has N,e\v Plymouth had such an oppprtunity of hearing so great a singer in tho zenith of his fame, and it may be long before it has such another. For the convenience of the public! Mr Bain will oinm the box office from 3 to 4 this afternoon.
