Volunteer Notes.
The usual fortnightly parade of the Taranaki Hifles was attended last night by 35 men, under Colour-Ser-geunt Asmitage. A working beo of volunteers Is to Ik.' held on the new range at the Walwakaiho on Thursday next. It Is anticipated that the range will be ready for shooting in about a month.
