Mr Spurr has a big repi/lation us an 'entertainer, and ia said to he capaWe of.alone keeping an audience amused with monologue recitals, zither playing, sketches and songs, in addition to being an entertainer of the highest class. Mr Spurr is also a composer of 110 mean order, having written some of the most popular songs that havo been sung during the past few years. This famous entertainer comes to New Zealand with a reputation that anybody might feel proud of. His performances in London alone total up to 900. besides which he has visited every town of any importance in the United Kingdom. Owing to previous arrangements Mr Spurr will be only able to appear one night, in New I'lymouth. The box plan will be open at McKinnon Main's on Monday,; morning next. /
