LONDON MARKET CABLES. LONDON, May 2rf. An Australian wheat cargo sold at 29s 4jd. The Washington Government's May crop report estimates that the average has been reduced by sixteen per cent, compared with winter wheal harvested in 1903. Indications are for a crop of 300,211,000 bushels. Hemp.—Dull and weak, nothing doing in New Zealand shipments. Sheep.—Canterbury heavy 41d, rest unchanged. Lambs.—Canterbury light sJrl, heavy 5 5-16 d, Duncdin and Southland 5 3-1 (id, North Island ojd. New Zealand lleef-Ox fores 2jd, hinds 3 7-lfid. River Plate Beef.—Ox fores 2[d. HOMEBUSH STOCK SALES. (Received May 30, 9.27 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 30. At the Homebush sales sheep were steady, best wethers making 19s 6d |to 22s lOd, good 17s lOd, best, ewes 20s 9d, good 17s 3d. Cattle showed an improving tone. Best bullocks realised £lO 10s, good £9 ss, best cows £7 10s, good £7. Best beef averaged 24s per 1001b.
