The Theatre Royal was crowded to the doors las! night, when Cooper ami Macdermol I's imperial JSiograph Company gaw one of their interesting enlcrtainnnjnls. Since last appearing in New Plymouth the company have added considerably to the slock of living picturesand included other attractions oi' an acceptable nature, and beyond doubt the show which I hey now pres<| is one of I he best of ils kind thai colonial Audiences have been pri\ileged to e:\ioy. Last, programme was a long and varied one, consisting of aiiimaIvd views of scenes aird ineidrnls in the jinny. A fealure of Ihe b'iog'raph pictures was their steadiness and the absence of flicker, while additional etTerl was given to the comic scenes by the int rodncl ion of clever! v siniMla;cd -dialog-iies. The fi r<> brigade pjef ures were e.\ I tvuiel v realistic, and won main rounds of hearlv applause. The arnn and navy scenes were equally good, and the comic lilms were distinctly above ihe standard oi e\en (he (test previously exhibited here. The ''man of inanv voices," Oelno Frit/., and his happy iamily (Tea led roars of laughter bv iheir eccenlricilies.
