Baptist Church.
The annual meeting of the Baptist Sunday School and Band of Hope was held on Wednesday evening in the Baptist Church, (Jill-street. As usual, at any entertainment in connection with the children, the attendance was good and the company hearty. Rev. W. R. Wooliey presided. After opening with prai.;u and prayer, the chairman addressed lia- meeting, commending the childfor their good work in connecton with last Sunday's services, r.nd urged them to give close uilentwn to the school work of the coming year.
