IMPLEMENTS AND MACHINKIIY. As usual there was a large collection of all kinds of machinery and implements for farm, station and factory work.

ilr 'New-ton King had a fine- display of 'dairy machinery manufactured by Lister, of Du.rsley, England, reapers and hinders by McCormick, Cjirin implements by Booth, Maenbnald and t'o., Christchurch, and a Duncan grain and seed drill ajud windmill pumps.

Messrs J. and W. Jenkinson, coach builders, had u fine lot of vehicles, consisting of gigs, bradleighs, and dog-carts, one fitted with rubber tyres attracting considerable attention.

The Taunton Cycle Co. had a number of machines on view, including ltanrblers, Hu'dge-Wbitworuh, and the Taunton.

Messrs Okpy, San arid AI3IOM had a largo selection of ni'aclii'ncry by lire Miissej-Harris Co., for which they aix; local agents, as well as a varied list of implements and machinery by ot;her makers. Amongst well-known colonial firms, Mosul's Reitd aivd Gray, T. amid S. Morrin. Masun and Struthers, and W. Taylor (Huwera) hud their representatives present. Messrs Girdlevtone unid Donald, of Elthain, haul on view jat'ks (for stump extracting, etc.,) patent wire strainer, new Keid milk Separator (hand), and other exhibits.

A patent cattle branding l apparatus was shown by Mr McLeod, of Auckloiud, and a haisdy britc-hing strap, patented by Mr K. Burke, of Mongiatoki, wus also on view. There wore numerous side stows icmimoiii to all such occasions, and aJI seomed to drive a fair trade.

The Garrison Band played a number of selections during the after-no-cn, greatly to the enjoyment of the public.
