A Doctor's Suicide.

(Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, Dec. 5. Dr. Barnard, a well known local medical man, •ommitted suicide this morning by shooting himself. Deceased had met with a bicycle accident during the week, and was confined to hds bed. A» five o'clock this morning a noise as of a chair falling was heard in his bedroom, and immediately afterwards the doctor rushed out, and Grounded down stairs, tiring two shots from a revolver, and screaming meantime. He then rushed on to the lawn-aid shot inmself dead through the head.
