A FIASCO. SYDNEY, Dec. 2. Through a curious departmental mistate the Royal Commission on the rival shearers' unions was issued without the Premier's knowledge, and the Commission was cancelled. Subsequently the Executive considered the matter, and issued a new Commission. A PLUCKY GIRL.
MELBOURNE, Dec. 2. A dinghy con'tafninig three little boys capsized 100 yards off the Port Melbourne teach'. A girl named Adeline liees, aged 12 years, swam out and placed the boys on the overturned boat, and kept tltem there till assistance came. NEW PLYMOUTH LADY DIES AT SEA.
