Post and Telegraph Matters.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. The conference of dekfgatea of the Post and Telqgiraph Officers' Association, which has been sitting during the week, concluded its session this evening. At an interview with the Poslm aster-General to-day a number of matters were discussed and most of the suggestions made by the Conference were favourably received. An improvement in the status of some officers of the service was indicated by Stir Joseph Ward, who promised to give further consideration to a few standing grievances. He expressed his appreciation-of the moderation shown in the proposals submitted to Mm, Last night the delegates were entertained at a large gathering of officers, the Postmaster-Gener-al and heads of the Department being present.
