The Canterbury Executive of tb,e Farmers' Union decided today to ask the Government to promote a Bill for tne purpose of compelling threshing machine-owners to send in quarterly returns of all grain threshei by them, in order that more accurate and reliable returns of the grain grown in the colony might be obtained.
