BAKERS' CONFERENCE.
PER PSEBS ASSOCIATION, ] Welusoton, October 15. The Colonial Conference of Bams resolved in favour of ch6 retention of an import tax on flour, and resented Mr Taylor's charges in Parliament that a combine existed between the Bikers' and Millers' Associations as untrue, The Conference resolved that no man ought to receive a second bands pay unless he was capable of doing foreman's work on an emergency. Mr Kellow was appointed president, Mr McCarthy secretary, Mr Churchill treasurer, and Messrs Denhard, Killduff, aud Langdon the executive, all being of Wellington except Mr Laureneon, who is from Duoedin.
