THE IRONSAND INDUSTRY.

We are informed on reliable authority that Sir A. J. Cadman is in receipt of a cable stating that the Iron Company's xpert will sr/ive in the colony about the end of this month or early in November. The expert is accompanied by the Ohairmm of the Provisional Directors of the proposed Company, who will, in the event, of the expert's opinion b'ing favourable, proceed wi*h '.he erec'ion of the works. As the visit of the expert is simply to verify Sir A. J, CJadman's statements, those who know Sir Alfred will have little doubt of the result. Where the works will start will depend altogether on the harbour facilities to be obiained.
