PROPOSED EXPERIMENTAL DAIRY STATION.
DEPUTATION TO THE PREMIER. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION, Wellington, October 2. A deputation from the Farmers' Union and ISatiocal Dairy Association urged the Premier to establish an experimental d»iry station to assist the dairy industry, but no site was mentioned. The Premier said the cewlyappointed Dinish ixpert would arrive ia the colony shortly, atd probably would supply information that would guide the Government as to its action in the matter. He sympathised with tho deputation's object.
