1 ANNUAL HONIO. Delegates from the yarious Friendly Societies met together in the Foresters' | Sail on Friday last to discww the advisability of holding the United Friendly Societies annual picnic, Bro. £. Bullot in the chair. Bro. H. J. Hobbs, of the Druids, was unanimously re-elected secretary. It was pioposed by Bro. Kivell, Court Taranaki, seconded by Bro. Ford, Egmonn Lodge, That the picnic be held at Mrs Sampson's, Sentry Hill, on New Year's Day.—Carried. It was propose! by Bro. Braund, Court Waireka, seconded by Bro. Prentice, Rechabite Tent, That the fares be same as last year, adults Is 64, children 9d.—Carried. The secretary was instructed to write to the District Traffic Manager for trains for that day, and call tbe delegates together by advertisement when rtquire d.
