ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

PBB PRISTS ASSOCIATION. Inykrcargill, August 28. The body of James McMenamio, aged 20, a clerk, who has been missing since Monday morning, was found in the Estuary to-day. It is supposed that deceased, who was reserved in manner, committed suicide. Dunedih, August 28.

The body of a man was found in the harbour this afternoon in an advanoed state of decomposition. In his pocket was a discharge bearing the name of A. Turner, ship Westralia, his age being given as 25 years. The man iB believed to have left the Westralia and joined the ship Kildalton. I/4TBB. 1

There were three discharges on tha body of the seaman found in the harbour, but only two were decipherable. Q.ne \yas fron} the ship Kastalia, and the other from the barque Osther, Napibb, August 2g.

A serious socidGnt occurred at the Hastings railway station this evening, As the up-country train was leaving the g'ation at 5 o'clock a native named Gorge Robinson, of Te Hauki, attempted to get oa.
